California Western Alumni Recognized for Success in Early Practice
Nearly one in five nominees for Daily Transcript "Young Attorneys" award are CWSL graduates

SAN DIEGO, October 31, 2012 - The San Diego Daily Transcript announced the nominees for its annual "Young Attorneys" award program this week. Of the more than 200 attorneys recognized, 41 are graduates of California Western School of Law.
The awards recognize local attorneys with between one and seven years of practice with local firms, government agencies, and companies including Qualcomm, and sole practitioners.
"Congratulations to all of the nominees on this recognition of their success in the first few years of practice," said Niels B. Schaumann, Dean of California Western. "We are proud to have played a role in preparing our graduates to enter practice with the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to build rewarding careers."
California Western has been recognized nationally for its work in preparing new attorneys for the demands of practice. Through a rigorous curriculum and robust clinical and internship placement opportunities, graduates prepare to meet the legal needs of their clients today and in the future.
